Manifest Global has agreed to acquire EduGo Abroad, a move that adds a dedicated Europe corridor to its portfolio of international education businesses. The deal brings together Cialfo, BridgeU, Kaaiser, and Explore under the same ownership structure, aiming to expand the group’s reach among students and universities. [1]Education Group expansion is a key part of this strategy.
The acquisition will allow students using Manifest’s platforms to consider European study destinations alongside other markets the group serves. EduGo’s university partners will also gain access to Manifest’s international student network and its technology for recruitment and enrolment.
Speaking exclusively to The PIE News, Manifest’s CEO Rohan Pasari explained that EduGo serves students in France, Spain, Germany, Italy, and Ireland. He noted that the company offers a “genuinely diversified European footprint rather than a bet on one or two markets,” a factor he believes contributes to the corridor’s value.
Pasari said EduGo is “growing rapidly,” placing around 1,000 students per year. This growth tracks Europe’s shift from an alternative destination to a first choice for Indian students, he added. The company is well-known in western India, which Pasari identified as its “core market.”
Founded in 2009 by brothers Chintan and Bhargav Modi, EduGo Abroad has developed partnerships with more than 280 universities and colleges across 18 European countries. The company has supported nearly 10,000 students to date and works with a network of channel partners across India and the wider region.
Leadership and technology integration
The Modi brothers will continue to lead the business following the acquisition, which will keep the EduGo Abroad name. Chintan Modi, managing director of EduGo Abroad, said the move would give the company’s partners access to a wider range of destinations and Manifest’s technology.
“In Manifest Global we have found a powerful new home for EduGo Abroad and for the partners who have grown with us,” he said. “Our partners get more destinations and Manifest’s transformative AI technology. Our universities get access to students well beyond India.”
Manifest describes itself as building an AI platform for “global human capital mobility,” spanning student recruitment, talent development, and cross-border movement. The group said more than 80,000 students who choose to study outside their home country each year use platforms across its portfolio, while its university network spans more than 150 countries.
This deal highlights a recurring pattern in the international education sector: successful regional operators often get absorbed by larger platforms that provide the infrastructure they lack. In this case, Manifest is leveraging EduGo’s local expertise in European corridors while supplying the digital tools needed to scale operations beyond its core markets.
