HOW TO TRAIN CHILDREN’S CREATIVITY FROM THE BEGINNING

Creative children are better at making decisions than those who are not. Children will be more daring to innovate when they think creatively. Children also become more independent in creative learning.

Creativity has an impact on children’s success as adults. This study from St Andrews Dusit explains that children’s creativity in arts and crafts will make them produce more innovation. If you want the creativity of your child to develop, St Andrews Dusit’s English School Bangkok can help you with the facilities and curriculum that it applies.

Here’s how to practice the creativity of children from the beginning that you can consider doing this to your child.

1. Give Freedom

You must allow children to do what the child does. When parents demand a lot and can not accept the child’s opinion, the child’s creativity will be decreased. Authoritarian style will kill the creativity of children and their relationship will run negatively.

Also, a greater level of parenting includes encouraging children’s creativity. Children will happily imitate the style of their parents.

2. Selecting Digital Access

In the digital age, children will be more literate about application development. Often parents limit access to television and computers for children. This choice is not good, because it can limit children’s creativity. You need to select the use of a smartphone or application in a productive direction such as for learning. You can choose what applications your child can play.

3. Practicing Independent Thinking

Another way to practice the child’s creativity is to let the child make the story authentically. Train it not by learning in class but by doing small exercises all the time. Creative education is done by inviting children to think differently. For example, it invites children to share a story from a different perspective. The point does not limit the child to copy the way you show. Give children freedom of expression to spur their creativity.

4. Shaping the Creative Climate

You can also form a creative climate for your child at home. Creative climate here, for example, inviting your child to express his opinion to talk about their tastes.

For example, at dinner, you can discuss with children what activities they want to do next week.

You can also invite children to do things that they have never done before. Do not give ideas which are good and bad, give freedom for children to choose.
